Welcome to Apollo's FRC Docs

Hi, I'm Apollo Graves, I was a student on FRC team 1778, Chill Out, from 2021-2025.

In this time, I served as Captain (2023-2025), Programming Lead (2023-2025), Operator (2024, 2025), and Technician (2022, 2023).

Our team had what was pretty much a full restart after Covid, none of us knew how to build a robot, and we faced many challenges as we rebuilt. However, given how far we made it in just four years, I'm extremely proud of what we accomplished, especially with robot development being entirely student-led (with incredible mentors making sure we succeed).

From all this, I have learned a lot about what it takes to be successful in FRC, and I hope I can help you succeed, too.

Lots of the things I mention here can be found in other FRC documentation, but the reason I've made this is to give more execution-focused info on how to be successful in FRC.

This also serves as a starting point for anyone who is interested in using Kotlin for your FRC robot.

Thanks for checking it out!
